Model: Deco M9 Plus
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.6.2 Build 20230906 Rel 80158

Upgraded my Deco units (2 of them).  After upgade the fastest Wifi Speeds I can get is 50 mbps even when standing right beside either unit.  When I test from the Deco app from the router out to the ISP I get the correct speed (500 mbps).  I tested a wired connection into the Deco unit that is the router and even the wired connection is 50 mbps.  If I plug a laptop directly into my modem i get the correct speed of 500 mbps.  Seems something in the upgrade has maxed out the speed the Decos are providing at 50 mbps.

My Main Deco M9 Plus is on that same firmware. I just ran speed test with smartphone connected to Main Deco, got 620Mbps over WiFi.

Check maybe you have settings like priority devices or bandwidth throttling. I run my Deco mesh in Access Point mode to get maximum performance.

@Alexandre.   The issue was the QOS setting defaulted to 50Mbps.  I have since changed it and all good that way.  One thing I do notice now is if I am streaming with IPTV and Netflix, the picture turns slightly blurry and then fixes itself.  This happens off and on while watching any video streaming.  Don't recall that ever happening before the firmware upgrade.

I have had that issue with my SmartTV, Netflix and Deco mesh since I bought my Deco three years ago. I think they were on firmware 1.4 back then.

The only reliable way to fix that is to connect Smart TV with Ethernet cable to Main or Satellite Deco. In my case, I put one of my Deco units on TV stand and wired them without issues.

Note that on some TV brands and models you may need to explicitly disable WiFi in TV settings to force TV use Ethernet link. Sounds illogical and took me by surprise first time I found that.
