Torrent Download
Hi,
i'm writing from Italy.
I bought 2 Archer AX55 routers for my network and i saw that there is no integrated Torrent Download feature (if it is possible, it'll be interesting if the downloader could download files from other "normal" URLs too)
I think that many people could really like that feature and the best thing should be to:
- have the possibility to have a "service" that enables a dedicated Webpage reachable from the LAN to add/manage/remove downloads
- have the possibility to have a flag that enables the Webpage to be reached from the WAN so that can be managed remotely from any location if the user wants (and if disabled could be maybe reached in some way through the TPlink account)
- have the possibility to configure the download destination from the router configuration page and from the Webpage (and through the TPlink account), in my case will be an USB HDD attached to the router but could be interesting for some users (maybe for me in the future too) to send downloads to a network location like a NAS or a shared folder on a PC/server
I would really like to have this feature because every time i need to download a file/torrent at home i have to turn on the PC and leave it running until it finishes (and more because i could not stay connected until it the download is finished) - if the router could manage this kind of task the PC will stay turned off without wasting electricity
Many thanks.
Best Regards.
