Wifi connection drops to LAN traffic when the internet goes down
I have been trying to setup an automation routine with my Home Assistant setup to automatically switch a smart plug on and off if the Virgin Media internet router drops its connection to the internet.
The problem I have is if the Deco loses internet access, it also drops all LAN traffic. The Wi-Fi goes offline, so the automation cannot contact the smart plug to tell it to switch off and on.
