Model: Archer MR500
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.5.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 230625 Rel 65051n

An Info message in the system log is no longer added when the Tether app is used to log in to the modem. The issue has been occurring for over a week. Though a similar message is still added when a browser is used to log in to the modem's web interface.

Hi, do you mean logging in the router via web interface will create a info message in the log, while logging in the router via Tether App will not?

I will report to senior engineer to have a check and evaluate.

By the way, when you login the device via Tether App, does it show local device or cloud device? and are you logging in locally or remotely via Tether App?

@Sunshine Yes, logging in via the web interface creates an info message while logging in via the Tether App no longer does. (It used to.) It happens when the modem is showing as a cloud device on Tether. (Tether being used on a different network to the modem.)

When tether is used on the same network as the TP-Link device, please check if it creates the info message log or not.

@Sunshine Yes it still does. When on the same network, a message is created "User(xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx) logs in on Tether App". I used to also get this exact same message remotely - even the same number in brackets after, "User".

I had wanted to see whenever the router was accessed with Tether.  Previously its log provided this information.
