I have new Deco X10 Mesh -system in my house and I have an issue that, at least, two (older) devices lose the connection after some time (15-45 mins) of activity. 

 

Devices identified are:

- Oldish surveilance camera

- Old Android -phone 

 

I have more exeperence with Android and issues are following (phone is used only for streaming music from stereos etc., i.e. not in active use):

- If the phone is "on the table" for a day, the connection stays

- If phone is taken into use, connection is lost in middle of streaming in 15-45 mins 

- Connection can be resumed by turning wifi off and on

 

Same devices worked without any issue with my old router - so it seems to be some settings issue, but what?

  @Soikka if they're older devices they might not support mesh networking. If you open the Deco app and select the devices from the network map (whilst they're connected) you can toggle "Mesh Technology" on/off. Try disabling the mesh feature for these devices and if you have the option also select "Connection Preference" under the same menu and select the Deco closest to each device to encourage the devices to connect to the nearest node.

It is also suggested to disable "Fast roaming" and "Beamforming" under Deco APP>More>Advanced.

Thanks for the replies! 

 

Seems that turning the mesh -option out helped for the camera. But the older phone is disconnecting despite this.

Same thing happened to me, have followed the instruction above and doesn't affect anything.
It only happen to device that connects through wifi, LAN is fine.
