Good evening everyone, I bought 2 Deco (X50-DSL and X50) because unfortunately with only one Deco (X50-DSL) the internet didn't work in the rooms (while with the Archer VR1210v everything worked) and unfortunately the regulatory domain of my Wifi is DE and not IT (I live in Italy).

It's not possible to change it on the app, I tried writing to support, but the response I got made me laugh. Does anyone know how to correct the problem?

Plus the mesh doesn't always exchange devices for me, my house isn't big and it would certainly help to lower the signal strength, but that's also not possible.

Does anyone have the same problems as me or have they solved it somehow?

  @SaschaPapini

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

For the EU version, the default region code is DE. The regulatory domain of a network can be set manually after a network is created or can be automatically determined when devices are deployed into the network. The first device added to the network is used to determine the country if it is not manually set. This will also automatically set the regulatory domain for the network.

First, it is suggested to log into the web UT of Deco to make sure you have selected the corrected time zone.

How to log into the web-based interface of my Deco

If it is already on the correct time zone, please also refer to the suggestions on this link:

Why my devices get the wrong location when connected to Wi-Fi

Best regards.

  @David-TP

Hello David, I would like to ask do you have any plans for updatating of Deco X50-DSL with current functions where available on Deco X50/55 series?

This will be very useful for all of us where own Deco X50-DSL.

Sorry for spam. :)

Best regards

  @David-TP very thanks for your support !

I entered the router via the page http://tplinkdeco.net/, but I can only change the wifi password.

In advanced mode I only have the logs and the possibility to restart the device or update the firmware.
The regulatory domain is a setting of the AP and not of the client devices, how can I change it?

What do you recommend for my mesh problem?

When do you plan to release new firmware for the Deco X50-DSL? I saw that it does not have the fixes and new features released on the Deco X50 firmware.

Thanks Sascha

  @SaschaPapini

Hi, Thanks for getting back to me. Sorry that I may not explain it clearly.

The Regulatory Domain of the EU version is DE which can't be changed, but it doesn't affect the location service of the mobile devices when they are connected to Deco.

The post provides suggestions if you find any of the mobile devices got the wrong location.

As for the firmware for Deco X50-DSL, there hasn't been any updated news about its firmware release plan and It is suggested to pay attention to the APP firmware upgrade notifications and the official website.

Thank you very much and best regards.

  @David-TP, thank you for the support.
Can you write to your R&D so they can make the regulatory domain change in the app ?

Regards

Sascha
