Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.1.5 Build 20231026 Rel. 62511

Hi All,

I'm trying to get a BT TV BOX Pro working with a Deco X20 Mesh system deployed in access point mode.

The Deco X20 is connected to the BT Hub and setup in access point mode.

The BT TV Box Pro works when connected to the BT Hub and within range.

The BT TV BOX Pro connects to the internet, but does not stream BT services correctly when  connected via the Deco x20.

According to BT and other sources The BT TV BOX Pro requires IGMP Snooping in order to stream live tv, sports other services correctly. Some sources suggest it works best with IGMPv3 enabled and IGMPv1 & 2 disabled.

This is a similar issue to the Deco M5 issue in this forum post. https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/224244 . Which does not seem to have been fully resolved.

Accessing the x20 via web interface there is no IGMP snooping option.

Advanced -> System-> System Parameters

Does the Deco x20 support IGMP?

Can the Deco x20 support be configured at all?

Has anybody else got this working?

BT internet services are very popular in the UK, and the BT TV BOX Pro is a common upsell by BT for providing TV services. It would be very much to TP-Links benefit to provide good support and compatibility with these products.

  @SteveC17

Hi, IGMP is enabled by default on Deco and it supports V1/V2/V3.

Unfortunately, it doesn't support customized configuration.

Is the BT TV box used to connect the BT hub via WiFi, or Ethernet cable?

When you said "does not stream BT services correctly when connected via the Deco x20", do you mean like BT TV Image scrambled or something else?

Have you tried the suggestions here:

Thank you very much and best regards.
