VR1210V capped to 100mbps
Hello all
I have a problem with the maximum speed connection of my router capped at 100mbs
No issues with wifi, as I can reach download speed of 400/450mbs easily.
I tried different cables cat5e and cat6 and the PC is compatible with gigabit Ethernet
I tried also to check on the settings of the router by I cannot find anything on the maximum speed
Do you know I can I solve it?

These issues a usually cause d by a bad crimping/connectores or a faulty ethernet ports.
To rule out bad connectors or crimping use another device like a laptop to test the negotiated speed.
Also make sure that you're with the latest FW release for this modem router - here.

I already tried different ports on the router with a laptop and different cables, so I think that the problem may be the firmware
I'll update it and try again, will let you know if works

so I checked the firmware and it is updated to the latest version*
I tried again all the ports on the router with different CAT6 cables, but still capped at 100mbs
here you can find a screenshot of the ethernet status on my PC
Seems that the speed (Velocità) is capped at 100 Mbps
here you can find a screenshot of the settings of the Ethernet controller port, where I selected "automatic negotiation"
I also tried to switch it to 2.5Gbps Full Duplex, but it is not working either
Do you know what can I try to check to solve this issue?

Try with another PC or a laptop with ethernet port as I posted, to rule out bad connectors/crimping.
If the issue persists you can contact your local tech support for further troubleshooting.

I tried all the ethernet ports with different cables and PCs, but always the same issue
at the end I returned the router and got a different model
after a 5 minutes setup here is the result
At this point, I think that the issue was in the router

In rare cases a faulty ethernet ports could cause this as I posted initially. Thanks for the feedback.
