Model: Archer VR400
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I am trying to connect my tp-link AC1200 vr400 in bridge mode to pass a PPPoE connection to my firewall which is located behind the tp-link.

With the configuration I have done so far, I have not managed to achieve it.

What I have done is the following:

In the Advanced -> Network tab, I initially set up an internet connection in PPPoE mode with vlanID 385 and the username and password that I obtained from my provider, just to check that this configuration is working so that I can use it on the interface of my firewall.

Then I delete all internet connections and add a new one with VDSL enabled, VLANID 385, and set to bridge mode.

That's all I have done on the tp-link.

I connect the lan/wan port of the tp-link to the firewall port. I configure the firewall port to use PPPoE, vlanID 385, username, and password, but I cannot establish a connection.

Is there any other configuration that I need to do on the tp-link?

This should be straight forward operation - check this story.

Pay attention on the VLAN ID configured only on the router behind the bridged modem.

i have it like this

I have group port lan3 with this wan interface (br_ptm_0_0) witch is to connected to my firewall

In the lan settings it becomes like the screenshot below, and i believe that interface 3 has a IP (192.168.2.1) like it is still a router

There's nothing special in configuring bridge mode on a DSL modem router - I don't think that interface grouping is even necessary.

Here's the TP-Link guide for that.

Here's the guide on how to set up the whole thing.

I finaly made it. The right configuration was to set on the tp-link the internet connection to "Brige" with a vlan 385, and on the interface of my firewall just to set to PPPoE with the username and password but without a vlan.
