Model: Archer AX72
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: v1.2.3 Build 20231025 real.69500(5347)

Hi, is there anyone in Singapore who owns the AX72 v1.0 router?  May I know if you current firmware version is v1.2.3 Build 20231025 real.69500(5347).  Are you able to update to the latest firmware v1.2.4?

  @NightFalcon8 Yes, I've just started using it. It shipped with 1.0.8 Build 20220408 rel.64483(5347). It's prompting me to update to 1.2.3 Build 20231025 rel.69500. However, this version is not listed on the local (Singapore) website. I'm reluctant to update without further investigation. I'm staying with the shipped version for now.

  @HatcherA thanks for your reply.  May I know if yours is an M1 set?  Is it (US) or (SG) version?  I am also hesitant in updating so soon as 1.2.4 is not available in US or SG site yet.  I also noticed that 1.2.3 is not even listen on their page.  Let's wait till the official version is reflected on SG's site.

  @NightFalcon8 Yes, it's an M1 set. The label on the box shows, "Model: Archer AX72(US)    Ver:1.0"  I agree with you. Wait for listing of the official version on the local (SG) website.

  @HatcherA

Hi HatcherA  ,

can you please confirm your wifi router internet speed which you receive when you are on 2.4GHz ? ( turning off smart connect )

I recently bought Tplink ax72 and my speed drop as low as 1 mbps on all devices , this seems to be a faulty device , anyway I am returning back to amazon

  @Sagar0077 Thanks for the link. I'm holding off on any update for now. Some results of tests at 2.4-GHz follow...

Router within line of sight behind wooden cabinet door (slightly ajar) covering recess in concrete wall.
Distance: 3.7-m
Power: High
Down: 57.0-Mbps
Up: 57.6-Mbps
Ping: 5-ms

  @NightFalcon8

Read the last reply from TPlink support ,

They are saying that the firmware on AX72 is same for US and EU ( same release version  )

Tplink says AX72 US version and EU version will get same firmware update with same release number but undisclosed differences.

We don't have right to know the changes , thats the beauty of tplink

Link to the last post where they have said this fact.
