Model: Deco X50-5G
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.3

As per subject. Seems to be an issue with the 5Ghz channel, staying on Channel 40? Unstable connection results in devices getting dropped and added intermittently.

Performing Network Optimization and it says good, but the main status always displays "Unstable Connection". Performing network tests with the module in the Deco Labs also reveals that the current channel is congested/ has interference. This situation has recently started as some neighbours recently installed new wireless routers. We live in an apartment and it is highly possible that we are surrounded by at least 9 different routers.

Is there a way to manually specify channel so that I can avoid the congestion?

The model is EU/V1.0 I believe. Thank you in advance.

  @leeks

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

Deco doesn't support changing wireless channels yet.

Have you noticed Deco X50-5G turn red during the disconnection?

As for the "Unstable Connection" error message on the Deco APP, it is a false alarm on the Deco APP and will be fixed via future firmware upgrade.

By the way, May I know who is your SIM carrier?

Wait for your reply and best regards.
