Firmware Version:

Hello,

I'm making this post in case someone else find themselves in the same issue, hopefully this help.

I recently started using my VX1800V and was having severe inconsistent internet drop outs, however the internet was all good to the modem. I was having issues from the modem to the devices.

Since DISABLE Wifi6 on the modem for both 2.4ghz and 5ghz, the internet from modem to the devices has been much more stable.

I would consider getting a different modem but for now it's easier to stay with this one. Hopefully it can be patched with a firmware update.

Cheers.

Hello, I have the up to date firmware. Another update. I enabled Wifi6 again and removed mac cloning. Wifi has been stable so it appears to be an issue with Channel width instabilities. Have 2.4 set to 20mhz and 5ghz set to 40mhz is worki g good so far. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing your experience! It's helpful to know that disabling WiFi 6 on the modem improved stability halloweensquishmallows. Hopefully, a firmware update will address the issue soon.
