Model: Deco X55
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.4.1

Hello,

I have three X55 installed in Wifi-mode behind a DSL-Router (Fritzbox7412 connected by wire) which is connected to the internet.
In general everything is working fine.

I want to use the VPN feature of the X55 (VPN-Server by OpenVPN)

I have already a DDNS-address of the Router and have forwarded the UDP Port 1194 to the X55 device

But how to configure this is the X55? I can create an OpenVPN-server, but cannot enter the DDNS-address of my router there.

It also doesn't help to activate an additional DDNS-entry in X55 as xx.tplinkdns.com because this DDNS will be routed to the not accessible internal IP.

How can I configure this ?

I checked for the TP-Link FAQ at https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/3642/ but couldn't see a solution for me:

Thanks in advance

I could enter the existing DDNS-entry of the router as "Server Override" in the OpenVPN App (Android) and this seems to work.
