Model: Range Extender
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I am reaching out to seek assistance with connecting my TP extender to my wireless access point. I currently have a wireless access point instead of a traditional router at home, and I am having difficulty establishing the connection. I was hoping you could provide guidance on how to resolve this issue.

Below are the details of the equipment I am using:

  1. TP Extender: WiFi Range Extender N300
  2. Wireless Access Point: Linksys LAPAC1750

I have already installed the TP app, but unfortunately, my attempts to connect the TP extender and the wireless access point have been unsuccessful so far.

I kindly request your guidance and support in resolving this matter.

Hi,

It makes no difference whether you are setting up the TP-Link extender with a Wi-Fi router or a Wi-Fi access point. The procedure is the same.

At what point during the setup are you having problems?

By the way, it is also recommended to watch the official setup video.
