Deco speed capped at 100mbps XE75
Hi Team, Here is my setup
ISP modem --> XE75 (main) ---(wired)-> XE50 (Satelite )
Download/Upload: 500/100
After some days, the download speed reduced to 100mbps (speedtest ~90mbps) on the satellite deco.
Any devices that are connected to the satellite deco, all show the speed test of less than 100mbps.
I suspect xe75 is limiting the speed to 100mbps for some unknown reason.
I have no issue if connected wirelessly to the main Deco XE75. It can hit 500mbps
I have tried replacing the XE50 with my old M9 Plus, unfortunately same behavior.
Previously, I had 3x M9 Plus (wired) and never faced this issue, with same LAN cables.
The workaround is, I have to reboot the network to restore it back to normal speed.. some it needs two reboots.
Do you know why? Any solution.
I live in Malaysia so the I am not sure if I am running on old firmware and not being updated regularly here in my region
Hi, Have you tried to change the Ethernet cable between the main Deco XE75 and the satellite Deco X50?
There are other Ethernet ports on the Deco XE75 as well as Deco X50, It is also suggested to switch the Ethernet ports.
By the way, did the satellite Deco X50 stay on the Ethernet Backhaul when the speed dropped to 100m/s?
