Hello, I set up our network with a 3-pack of TP-Link Deco X20 AX1800. Our UK flat is very old and has very thick walls. So I am thinking of adding one or two more units to improve wireless connectivity. Will adding more units negatively impact our network strength or stability?

It should be fine to add one or two Deco units to 3-unit Deco mesh. There should be no adverse effects. For additional units I would recommend X20, or X50/X55. If you are adding X50 or X55, it would also make sense to promote it to Main Deco.
