Cannot make Ethernet Backhaul work as expected
Hello,
I have a system set up with 5 Deco devices, configured in Router Mode.
4 Deco are X60, with Firmware 1.2.5 Build 20240106 Rel. 2319
1 Deco is X20, with Firmware 1.1.8 Build 20240119 Rel. 37701
26 port switch Cisco SG220-26 (loopback detection turned off)
1 X60 is used as the main one, connected directly to the modem on Ethernet port 1.
3 X60 can be connected via cable routed back to the switch (port 1 as well?).
1 X20 is too far and has strong wifi connection to one of the X60.
It's connected like this:
Modem -> Main Deco (X60) -> Switch
All other Decos ==WiFi==> Main Deco
I can't get the Decos to set up a proper Ethernet Backhaul as one would expect it to be.
No matter how and when I plug them to the switch, they won't all connect to the Main Deco (in a star pattern).
They either connect to each other, for example A -> B, and then all else remain in WiFI.
Or, one of the four connects to the Main Deco, and then all the rest remain in WiFi.
How I expect it to behave:
Modem -> Main Deco (X60) -> Switch ---> 3 X60 Decos ==WiFi==> X20.
I'm probably doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what. Is the switch not compatible?
