Normally, when I try to ping my home router from somewhere else, it works and I can also reach the routers web page. But when I use a VPN (Proton VPN or PIA for example), I can not ping my router or connect to it. Something stopping me. I looked at my router settings and it isn't blocking any IPs. I don't know what else to look at.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
