Model: RE200
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version:

I purchased the AC750 RE200 extender about 6 months ago and set it up without fuss,  as an access point in an outbuilding.  I am unable to connect to the internet via the TP link extender and it shows "connected,  no internet"

After resetting the router,  no success, then eventually reset the extender to factory default and I am still able to connect to the extender via wifi on my laptop but no internet so i cant use the app to set it up.  all green lights are on except the WAP button ...

After 2 attempts of several hours I am ready to throw it off the wall.

Admittedly I am not a Pc or electronics buff so need some help please !

Here's a guide for configuring RE in AP mode.

Some recommendations:

If your main router LAN ip address is within the 192.168.0.0/24 subnet set a static IP for RE200 192.168.0.254 and set its DHCP server to OFF:

The main router LAN IP address and teh RE200 LAN IP address must be in the same subnet.

If you still have access to the RE200 WebGUI, you can observe its network status here:

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".
