Hello,

I just bought this SIM router, but I believe it's not working as should be

Internet connection is working, but Here are the following problem:

1) my Maximum signal strength is 50% (2 band) if I put it straight to the window, normally 25% in all the other area around my house, while if I use the same SIM with my mobile I get minimum 4/5 notches, sometimes even 5/5

..this router have much bigger antenna than the internal one of my mobile so, I believe it should get eve more signal than my smartphone

2) the Average download capacity from the router is 1mbs , while using the same SIM card from my mobile I get up to 15mbs...even if I use my mobile as a hotspot I get something       around 5mbs... 5 times more than the router which should arrive to 300mbs according to the description

Is all of this normal or am i missing something?

I already followed all the steps of the "quick guide + the "need help" part

I don't want to return the product, but , currently, I am quite disappointed with it

Hoping to get some help...

  @lolloNemesis

Hi

Does 2-band mean 4G signal strength on the router? or WiFi signal strength on the phone when it is connected to the router's wifi?

It is recommended that you test the speed after connecting to the 5G wifi of MR600.

For speed issues, it is recommended that you refer to the following link:
low speed with TP-Link Wireless 4G LTE Router

@Joseph-TP Hi, thanks for your reply

With 2 band, I mean the 4G signal strenght on the router

I don't understand why the same position, with my mobile and same SIM card gives me much more signal strenght than the one with the router...

thank you for the link

I will try to follow all the steps 🙏
