Firmware Version: 1.5.0 0.8.0 v00a2.0

Hello I have had this modem for around 3 months now and it was working really well until a week ago, I noticed I have stutters in online games and my internet speed was extremely low, until I restarted my router and when I went to check on my router's status page I found the number of downstream error packets is quite big

After I restart my router it goes down to 0 and starts increasing gradually after 12 h I've to restart my router again for the counter to reset

what is this?

  @Gerges

Hi,

Thanks for posting on TP-Link Community.

Will it happen to all wired and wireless devices? Please change the DNS settings to Google DNS.

And you can also ping Google DNS when the issue happens and check the ping result.

Please also test if it is normal with connect to other WIFI.

  @Sunshine

Hello thank you for responding

I am using google DNS on both the router and the PC and yes this issue happens on all devices conntected to wifi as well

here is a picture when the error rate increases

this is how many error packets I have

I also noticed my discord calls stutter/video playback, anything I was doing at this time is affected and once I restart my router it is all gone for the next 12-24 hours at most
