AX6000 maxing out at ~800Mb/s on a 2.5Gb/s connection
I just recently got a 2.5 Gb/s connection and my AX6000 download speed is maxing out at 700-800Mb/s. I have connected my PC directly to the modem and can confirm I have the full 2.5 GB/s coming through my modem
- Router speed test was done using the integrated speed test within the router settings and from my PC
- HomeCare Antivirus is disabled
- QoS is disabled

Update: Factory reset and speeds still stuck at 800MB/s on the router. How is this possible? The modem and ethernet cable have been confirmed able to hit the 2.5Gb/s

Hi, thanks for posting question here.
May I confirm whether you test speed via www.speedtest.net? How did you connect PC to the router? Via Ethernet cable or wirelessly?
As Archer AX600 has 1× 2.5 Gbps WAN Port and 8× Gigabit LAN Ports, so if you connect PC to the router via cable and test speed, the speed will be no more than 1 Gigabit.limited by the LAN port.
If you connect PC to the router wirelessly, please connect to its 5GHz wifi band, test speed via www.speedtest.net, and check link speed. Please kindly share the screenshots of the results here.

@Marvin_S The speed test was run from the router directly by using the integrated TP Link speed test at http://192.168.0.1/webpages/index.html, so this test is being done over the 2.5 Gb/s port.
