Hi Guys,

I have a BE230 router connected to 2GBs internet.
Connected to this is 3 x Deco XE75 Pro mesh nodes which give great signal.
My problem is that I have to run both the router and mesh in router mode because when I switch the Deco to AP the speed drops from around 1.6Gbs to around 800Gbs.

The problem is I have a double NAT and my printer won't connect to the network like this.

The router doesn't have bridge mode, just router and AP. The AP cuts the WAN.

Any ideas what to do?

Or any ideas why the AP mode on the Deco is cutting my speed so much?

I've tried playing with the QoS but no luck.

I have different SSIDs for the router and the mesh. No reason. Just have. Thought I'd mention that.

Thanks for reading.

I am not 100 percent sure i can assist but how have you configured your connections example how many nodes are wire back hauled through to the main router? it maybe to do with running 2x wifi backhauled nodes maybe? does your config look like this?

router------deco1- - - deco2- - - deco3    I would run with router------deco1-----deco2- - - - deco3 if you have not already done so.

Make sure they have a wired connection back to port on the router or switch as each node will have dedicated wired backhaul and not be going from node to node the only things that should be doing the wireless roaming are your client devices not your host devices.
