Model: Archer AX23
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have two AX23s, one as the primary router bridging the ISP's modem, and the other in Access Point mode at the other end of the house.

However, when I login to the AP on Tether, I can't see the same LED controls that I can for the primary router.

I tried turning the LEDs off for the primary router but while its turned off the AP's remained on.

Any ideas?

(Also, it was pretty annoying going through the faff of setting up the 2nd AX23 just turn to enable Access Point mode, undoing everything I just did.)

  @jaunt

Have you tried to login the second AX23 (which is in AP mode) via web browser.

This is a screenshot from Archer C64 in AP mode on which you can turn off its leds:

On your second point - you should first switch the router to AP mode and then configure network settings.

Note that there are settings in router mode which persist when the router is set in AP mode - details.

  @terziyski Ah wonderful, thank you!

I'm surprised the website has more options than the app.

Regarding AP mode: yeah I'm just surprised "Operational Mode" wasn't asked for at all in the quick setup (and if it were I'd've expected it to be one of the first things). Hey ho.

Thanks a bunch!
