I have a TP Link modem and as a back when NBN goes down I want to add a sim card for internet access - into a roughter or switch - my modem does not have a sim reader , is there a dongle or device I can buy to plug into my switch using LAN cable to switch or into modem via LAN cable ? I know TP Link have a modem with a sim slot but my one does not ! Please help ??

Hi,

 

TP-Link DSL modem does not support the connection method you described.

The LAN port is used to connect to the back-end devices and provide internet. It cannot work as an internet backup.
