Model: Archer AX72
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.6 Build 20240619 rel.72016(5553)

Hi, sorry if this is nto the right forum, but I need help to setup my network.

What I have now:
Modem (opctic fiber) ---> AX72 (main router)---(ethernet )---> AX53 (secondary router)

On AX72 I have 3 IP cams and 1 NVR to record IP cams videos. AX72 assigns ip range 192.168,.0.x to all, including AX53
On AX 53 I have 3 more IP cams with IP range 192.168.1.x, as it got a 192.168.1.1 IP assigned at setup to avoid conflict with AX72(i guess)

All dynamic IPs.

Problems: The NVR can't find the cams at 192.168.1.x

How do I solve it so all the cams get a 192.168.0.x ip?

Tryed to setup AX54 as mesh satellite, but AX72 didn't found it. Also they must be linked by ethernet cable.

Thanks for any help

BF

If you set AX53 in AP mode (Case 1) all IP cams would be ihe same subnet and NVR would see all of them - they would be all in 192.168.0.0/24 subnet.

Depending on your AX53 HW version you can also use as alternative Easymesh with an ethernet backhall - check this thread for details.
