Model: Deco X50-5G
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.1.4 Build 20240109 Rel. 60700

I'm an owner of a X50-5G and it's been working flawlessly since last May when I first bought it. However, yesterday I started experiencing issues with it disconnecting from the WAN network (4G/5G). Usually I'd just reboot the thing, continue and forget about it, but it continued disconnecting several time during the evening.

This morning I started working on my computer and noticed that the network was already down. Rebooted the device and everything was ok again.

Then I started watching more closely how it operated and went to see system logs. There i saw it repeatedly recording something that looked like heat issues.

Can someone tell me if there's a fan problem or why is it heating up and recording error level logs.

Below is a snapshot from the log:

Thanks!

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.

Have you checked the hardware of Deco X50-5G? Is it warm/hot to touch?

A new firmware 1.2.0 was released for Deco X50-5G and it is also suggested to install the latest firmware to see whether it helped or not:

Deco X50-5G-V1-1.2.0 Supports WireGuard VPN, Hybrid Mesh and MoreDeco X50-5G-V1-1.2.0 Supports WireGuard VPN, Hybrid Mesh and More

Please also refer to the troubleshooting guide here for more suggestions:

Deco X50-5G Solid Red /Internet Unstable

Best regards.
