Is there any way to make the X50-5g use the external antennas only?

I mean to disable/isolate the internal antennas completely and get signal for 5g/4g exclusively from the external antennas.

I understand that now, when I select to enable the external antennas, the x50-5g uses a combination of the internal and external antennas.

I know this because the signal streangth and connected bands change when I change the position/location of the deco x50-5g, even if the external antenna is firmly placed in a specific location!

So, is there any way to use exclusively the external antennas for receiving signal? Is that even possible hardware-wise?

Otherwise, should I post this in the feature request thread?
