Hi all,

I'm having issues in getting my IP tv to work properly. I'm connected to my ISP (fibre ONT) by a PPPoE connection. My ISP requires that I configure both Vlan 6 for internet and Vlan 4 for IP tv. I have assigned IPTV to lan port 4, which allows me to watch live tv, but the guide and menu functions do not work. If I assign INTERNET to lan port 4, a local IP address is assigned and the guide and menu will work, but I cannot watch live tv. Internet on Vlan 6 works just fine. I assume the Archer can only use Vlan 4 on the LAN side and not on the WAN side.

I have configured the Vlan's as follows:

Does anyone know why this doesn't work? Any help is welcome!

 Hi @PotatoMasher81

Could I confirm what the guide and menu functions you mentioned refer to? Is it the management interface of the router?

It is highly recommended that you double confirm the configuration information with the internet service provider.

Currently, there are only two ways to configure IPTV ID and VLAN ID.

How to configure VLAN ID
How to configure IPTV function

As you can see, if you have configured the information correctly, the problem may also be on the TV or the configuration information. It is recommended that you also consult the TV support to confirm whether the specific settings need to be modified?

Hi Joseph, By guide and menu functions I mean the functions on my settopbox (channel/program info), being able to see previous broadcasts etc. The config information is correct, I have double checked that already. I have also followed the guide in the link you sent, but it still doesn't work unfortunately. The tv is not the issue, the problems started as soon as I started using TP-link hardware. I have this issue on my Archer, but my Deco's have the exact same issue.
