Hi. Transferring data from my laptop to a WD MyBookLive network drive, I get speeds of about 30 MB/sec wired but only 10 MB/sec over wireless 5GHz. My settings and what I've tried are below. Suggestions appreciated before I return this router as defective. Thanks.
Laptop wireless chip: Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300
Distance from router to lapop: <2 metres (in the same room)
Router firmware: 3.13.33 Build 130617 Rel.46239n
Hardware Version: WDR4300 v1 00000000

Wireless 5GHz settings:
Mode: 11an mixed (trying other settings = no improvement)
Channel: Auto (Current channel 36) I checked and there’s no other network on my channels
Channel Width: Automatic (trying other settings = no improvement)
WDS Status: Disable (enabling this made no difference)
