Is there any way to make the media server publish title, artist and album information in the standard tag format so that client devices can read this and use it to organise the content ? Without this, the media server is useless once you have any significant number of files to serve unless you carefully set up the directory structure. A playlist function would be useful as well but at least if the tags were available, it may be possible to set up playlists at the client end.
BTW, my model number is the WD8970. This model was not available in the dropdown list.
