Model : TL-MR3040

Hardware Version : V2

Firmware Version : 131121

ISP : MTS

I have 2 MTS Mblaze Ultra ZTE AC2792 dongles, with different firmwares MBLAZE V.MTS.ZT.2792. 01 (black color dongle) and another is MBLAZE V.MTS.ZT.2792. 02 (white color dongle)
Dongle with firmware MBLAZE V.MTS.ZT.2792. 01 is working perfectly fine with TL-MR3040 and using it since last 3 months with no problem at all.
My problem is the dongle with firmware MBLAZE V.MTS.ZT.2792. 02. It does runs only once while quick setup the router but it never run after router reboot.
My router log is following:
33 1st day 00:02:24 3G/4G INFO 3G Modem is plugged out.
32 1st day 00:02:20 3G/4G INFO LTE MODEM = 0, status = 0, targetVendorID = 0x0, targetProductID = 0x0

25 1st day 00:02:01 3G/4G NOTICE handle_card star
If I connect my dongle directly to laptop, it works fine with no issue. Can anyone have suggestion how to fix the problem. Thanks in advance.

I am also experiencing the very same problem. Can some one help here. Would be highly appreciated.

Sir I have a white ZTE AC2792 MTS dongle. I wanted it to connect to TP Link MR3020 router. But after upgrading the firmware of the router, it managed to connect to modem and access internet only once. Thereafter, router status page always showed modem unplugged even after multiple reboots.
I again installed the latest firmware and again for the first time after firmware update it managed to connect and let me access the internet via modem but later on it never connected. Can you please help me with the problem?

Regards

Dr. Shubham Singhal

Hello All,

I have the same issue.
Here is what I do to use the router with this modem.
step1. power up the router (with the modem already plugged in & ISP settings configured). The mode switch should be WISP.
step2. wait patiently for 2-3mins till the router boots up.
step3. now, put the mode switch to 3G/4G.
step4. wait for 2mins & the internet will be connected just fine & will remain active.

If the connection goes away, just put mode switch to WISP, wait 2mins & then to 3G/4G mode again.

Enjoy... Well I am not enjoying this ruckus, but thats the only way its workin... so cheers :)

waiting for TP-Link to release a bin file for this modem...

@tech4d Switching between WISP and 3G/4G mode (between waiting 2 minutes) not working for me at all. I tried it in many possible ways but no success :(
Still no updates by tp-link but they release new hardware version (v2.1) for the router which proving that they wont release any software update for v2.0

Really cool tech4d..Your technique is working for me!..Thanks dude for that cool technique...really appreciate for that
Now, I am able to connect MTS Blaze ZTE 2792 .02 (white colour dongle) with tech4d 's technique.
NB:- Sometimes when u switch from WISP -to- 3G/4G , the ISP may automatically change from MTS to Idea..that you need to change. But Modem will be "Identified" - anyway!
