I purchased the TP-LINK TL-PA2010KIT AV200 Nano Powerline Adapter Starter Kit today. I read that these powerline adapters should not be used with surge protectors as they inhibit their performance. Does this product have any built in protection to prevent surges from damaging equipment through the ethernet port? I plan on using it with my PS4 and was wondering if a surge could potentially damage my PS4. I'll have my PS4 connected to a UPS.
