USB Storage stops on TL-WR1042ND

Hi,
my shared USB storage service stops after maybe 10-40 minutes, it is kind of random. An than I have to start the service in the admin interface again.
I have 2.5" SATA drive in USB enclosure connected. It works perfectly, but after some time I notice, that the USB sharing has stopped. What could that be?
My ideas were:
USB enclosure cable disconnects for some reason - not likely, the router lies stands in the room, where nobody goes to
USB enclosure takes too much power - not likely, as I can sit and watch the computer moving large files to the shared drive for quite long time
any ideas? I don't have the latest firmware, but I haven't seen anything regarding USB in the changelog.
