tl-wr1042nd bricked?
Hi,
My model wasn't listed, so I choose the 1043 option to be able to post
I've tried to update the firmware of my tl-wr1042N v1.5
I had it stored somewhere for some time.
Before use I thought it was a good idea to upgrade to the latest firmware.
But after upload, processing and waiting for the reboot, it's know stuck in some kind of loop.
Question is, how do I get out of it?
Is it bricked? I can't anything anywhere on the internet about this model, so any help would be appreciated.

Hello, sorry about that.
You may need to contact the local tech support to check the warranty cause the device seems faulty since none helps:

Hi,
Do you still use the original power adapter? Was there any power cut or bad weather or firmware upgrading before it stops working?
Try one more time to hard reset it by holding the reset button or hole for 10s.
Are you able to access its web UI from a browser? What is the hardware and firmware version?
When and where did you buy this also? Please refer to this below firmware recovery to give it a go:

May it helps.

Yes, original power adapter. Everything seemed fine, but after the firmware upgrade it never came back.
Behavior I see is flashing the lights 2 times, after short flash of the connected lan port and then it reboots or something and repeats that cycle over and over.

Tried that several times

No, can't connect. Model is: TL-WR1042ND Ver 1.5
I can't see anymore wat the "old" firmware was, but I've uploaded this one, downloaded form TL site:
TL-WR1042ND_V1_130923

The router came along with i'net/television provider package and haven't used it until now.Have already tried this recovery procedure, but the router doesnt seem to look for a recovery firmware, so I think WR1042ND doesnt support that kind of recovery, am I correct?
