Hi,

I am having the exact same problem. Would anyone care to provide some insight on this.

I have only a connection of 1 Mbps.

Regards.

If you are only achieving 1-2Mbps then it appears that your adapter is running in basic rate 1,2Mbps.
What speed does your adapter display it is connected to your Access Point or Wireless Router?

The speed at which it connects is exactly 1Mbps. This is the speed reported when I open properties on the network connection and in the tp-link utility. The router is a Netgear DNG-2200v4 and configured at "Speed up to 145 Mps" in the router configuration itself. Another adapter is able to connect to this router at 78Mbps (at least).

Regards.

Driver seems to be older than the one provided by tp-link.
Will try it when I'm home, and report back.

UPDATE:

I've downloaded the realtek driver, and now it is able to connect at 15Mpbs. Thanks for the tip Mavis.

On another side, I wonder what happened to ranef who started this thread, as there was no reply since May.
