Hello, i am having problems with my powerline adapter via the wireless, it works great with wired getting near max speed. also i am getting around half speed on the wireless at around 27.28 Mbps .

But when i turn my PC off i go down to like 2 Mbps and then i turn my pc back on and its great again.

Is there any setting i need to do to keep it sending through a good signal?

I have tried upgrading the firmware to 1.2.8 and it stopped the adapter working i had to unplug and plug back in worried that i may have broke it but its still on 1.2.4 at the moment and i am glad its still working.

Thanks for reading if you know please let me know what is the problem .

Strange problem. Actually TP-LINK powerline adapter's performance has nothing to do with computers.

So I suggest you should reset your WPA4220 and give a try.
