Did you try to roll back to "wr1043nv1_en_3_13_13_up_boot(130325).bin" ?

I had the same problem with a 1043ND v1.8 router. I tried official, dd-wrt and openwrt firmwares too, but all of them usually freezed. After 1.5 year of the purchase date, i have sent back the router to the shop, where i bought it, and after 2 weeks waiting, TP-LINK had sent me a v2.1 model, which is now running very well. I think all of you should send back the router to the TP-LINK if you still have warranty. (Before sending back the router, install an official TP-LINK firmware and reset the router and do not mention that at the shop you have tried custom firmwares! If you are running custom firmwares, you may have to install an official firmware, that doesn't contain the boot word in the name of the firmware file. Read about this at the appropriate custom firmwares wiki sites.)
