TL-WR1043ND keeps dropping internet connection

Hi, I have a recurrent problem with this router. The problem is that the internet connection keeps cutting out on a daily basis requiring a reboot of the router to restore it. You get the yellow triangle on the network icon (Windows 7) and then unplug it and plug it in again and all is well. I'm not really using it for wireless as all our PC's and media streamers are connected by ethernet cables via a network switch. As far as I can tell, the networking still works as my media streamers can stream from my PC no problem when the internet has dropped.
I have upgraded to the latest firmware, and the router is located in a very well ventilated cool space.
Any ideas please?
