can Huawei E3131h-2 work on MR3420 v2.3?

Hi,
Purchased from my mobile provider (Slovak Telekom) 3G USB modem for my travels (Huawei E3131h-2). I need to connect more devices to the internet so I've got also MR3420 v2.3 that should be able to handle such task.
However the 3G USB modem doesn't seem to be recognized by the router. Before purchase I read some forums (mostly form users from Poland) and they claimed that more recent firmware should support this model. Or they used .bin file for modem identification.
Tried the firmware which was shipped with router (3.13.27 Build 120905 Rel.73281n) but no luck. Then tried another 2 versions (3.13.27 Build 121206 Rel.60215n and 3.14.9 Build 140319 Rel.38485n) but again no luck.
The original one did not even listed Slovakia in country drop-down. The other two did. However not sure if it has any impact on idetification.
Is there some trick or step by step guide how to make the modem work with the router?
Could you please share your experience or firmware or modem config .bin file for the type mentioned?
