I received the firmware from TP-Link via email around 10pm EST. I have updated my firmware and everything seems to be working great so far.

Tether app re-release Sept. 19th

New TL-WDR4300 firmware (and possibly other router models) will be released before Sept. 19th.

Supposedly works with Tether v2.0 if you already have that. I tried re-downloading Tether 2.0 app after it was pulled from app store but now when I launch the app it crashes. It's ok as the app should be fixed and uploaded on Sept. 19th.

I did notice the router firmware works with IPv6 now, at least on Comcast for me. And it looks like "Enable Short GI" is now an option. There may be other fixes/features that I'm not aware of. Guess we will just have to wait for the official release and notes.

The new firmware is now listed on TPLINK website but it says it is for TL-WDR4300 ND(UN) V1.
What is that mean? I have the V1, or V1.6. What is the ND(UN) stands for?

Do you have problems with the remote management, too?

I'm not able to login via remote. I'm getting a note: The router allows only one administrator to login at the same time, please try again later. But no athor admin is logged in?!

I have a TL-WDR4300 v1.7 and I'm using the new firmware with no issues.

I have downloaded the new firmware, patched but now I cannot access the main page. Is there a fall back? Please help me as I cannot make a connection with the router

Did not flush the firmware yet. Having the doubt Used to flush my old TL-WR840N (Atheros) with wrong firmware for witch also called TL-WR840N but with Broadcom chipset. It is bricked. TP-LINK did very bad job with their product configuration management. They launch a new product with the same name code cause confusion to customers without giving clear indication.

The only information regarding V1.7 so far I can get, is from the OPENWRT hardware info page. Since Attitude Adjustment 12.09 Final runs well on both versions I think V1.6 and ver1.7 should be the same hardware configuration.
Nevertheless I want figure out what the ND(UN) means first before flushing my router.
