E3272 very slow speeds when used with TL-MR3040 V2 router

E3272 very slow speeds when used with TL-MR3040 V2 router

When I plug the Huaweii E3272 dongle directly into a pc USB port I am getting speeds of 25M + on 4G
When I plug the dongle into the router and access over Wi-Fi then the speed drops to <5M
I have only one Wi-Fi connection to the router and I have the latest firmware installed on the router (model is 3040 v2)
Any ideas why the router is reducing the 4g speeds?
