Hello, i`m working in a Internet Service Provider, and lately we observe that WR 841N routers periodically drops ICMP ping request from WAN port. As ICMP is used as network problem diagnostic protocol and is used to help find bad network paths, this irregular behavior drops our ability to solve network problems fast, and to deliver better network service to our customers.
So any one knows about this or has a solution or explanation?

i`m aware of openwrt, but this is not a solution, as i can not track every clients router they bought at their own and demand to change it firmware with third party firmware...
I think an official firmware from TP-Link should be released to fix this issue..
here are two examples, that shows what i`m talking about, ping reply stops, and the again starts at some time. And for example when there is no reply, if you log into routers remote mgmt ping starts immediately
