I just got a TD-W8990 as it was advertised as having VPN functionality.
Looking at the instructions i can see that it is possible to create a VPN tunnel with another Router somewhere. However, what i need is to be able to connect from my laptop to my network (served by the TD-W8990) from whereever i may have a connection.
I currently do this with another router where I connect to my network using a VPN client (software) that i use on my laptop. I can connect from wherever i am as if i was connected to my network).
Is this possible at all with the TD-W8990? Could i use a standard VPN client with the right settings to connect to this router?
