I know I can extend wireless as long as I can pick up my main Wi-Fi transmitter.
But I have a cable coming from my main router to a room which gets NO Wi-Fi as it's too far away.
The Cable works perfectly, but I'd much rather have Wi-Fi in the room....

CAN I PLUG THE RJ45 (Internet supply from my main router) INTO THE TL-WA740RE and generate Wi-Fi from it?

If not, does anyone know of a device which accepts MALE RJ45 as input and transmits WI-Fi as output?

Thanks in advance..

Hello,

Yes you can !
But you have to use one of the LAN port (not the WAN port) to use it like an AP...
