Remote Management on Archer D7?

Hi all,
Bit of a noob here. I used to have a Netgear, where I could remotely access the modem/router. I understand that remote management is possible on the Archer D7 via CWMP. Can anyone give me a bit of a Dummy's Guide to setting up via CWMP, as the instructions on the D7's manual were not exactly crystal clear (e.g. Connection Request Path, ACS URL...etc)
