TL-PA4020PKIT Issues connecting to router / WiFI problems
Region : Argentina
Model : TL-PA4010PKIT
Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version :
ISP : TalkTalk
I have the 4020, as written in the title. There is no option for it so apologies for any confusion.
I assume these have the latest hardware version as they are new, but I do not know how to tell.
I can't create a wired connection to the router using the adapters.
All three lights light up when plugged in. The Powerline and Ethernet lights will blink every few seconds.
The PowerLine Utility tells me, "The local device hasn't been connected, please connect the local device."
If another device accesses WiFi while the adapters are installed the router will lose connection to the internet, falling into a cycle of failing to reconnecting, until the router is turned off for 20 seconds.
Same results paired and unpaired.
Same results when using plug sockets next to each other with a laptop.
I feel like I must be missing something obvious... any help will be appreciated. Or if someone could point me to a similar topic, I could not find one quite the same.
