wifi ask for username

I have tried to change some settings on my router and now it ask for username. I then reset to old settings and it then asked only for password as normal. Next day it ask for username again, i then changed setting from bgn mixed to just n and i now worked on my phone again but not om my wife phone or my ipad. The strange thing is that my wife ipad auto connect to wifi as usual . What have gone wrong??
we have the same phone and my ipad is newer than the wifes.
