FTP conection on tp link wr 1043nd

I have a problem with fpt connection on my router.
What i want to do is to connect WR 1043 ND which i made it ftp server to my home router. ( which is also tp link) but i can configure the wan settings. It says that WAN IP can not be same with LAN ip and the fpt server does not gain internet access. Am doing everything same like in the user guide
