TD-W8968-Router Ping Delay-Network Registration Deny
Region : India
Model : TD-W8968
Hardware Version : V3
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I am using TD-W8968 model from 1 year.
I found a heating issue on 1st model-V2, replaced it to V3.
Now the problem is, it always gets aping delay and ping drop-ping time out frequently while pinging to router's own IP.
in connected mode it comes <1ms to 2 ms.
in wireless mode- 1-2 feet and or 10-15 feet, it comes 1ms to 100+ms. On average it shows always 10-25ms.
And the worst is, after a continuous use of more than 8 hrs, most time the router's network goes down. When try to connect the network it says windows can't login - from PC, and mobile says authentication failed.
I have to restart then to solve.
I am frustrated for this issue, and I spoke to TP LINK central customer care [support@tp-link.com, toby.xia@tp-link.com], none is helpful.
As per them, it can work in a room, passing signal through wall may not be reliable.
Please anyone here let me know if faced this issue.
My router config:
The maximum security settings given
Band is selected to one which is not used by near by devices.
